Substack and Your Account

VeganWeekly is hosted by the Substack platform. A Substack account is created for you under the email address you entered when you subscribed to VeganWeekly.

Managing your Substack account

  • You can sign into your VeganWeekly account using this link: Sign into VeganWeekly

  • Once you are logged on, you can manage your subscription directly at this link: Manage VeganWeekly. Alternatively, you can click on your profile in the upper right hand corner and scroll to “Manage subscription.”

  • If you can’t sign into your account, you may have subscribed to VeganWeekly with a misspelled email address. Please get in touch with the Substack Support team Substack Support – they can help you with any login issues.

Receiving newsletters from VeganWeekly

You will automatically receive a Welcome email when you subscribe to VeganWeekly as a free or paid reader. You can test to see if there are any email delivery issues by sending yourself a test email.

On your Manage Subscription page, click on “If you’re having email delivery issues”. On the next page, select “Send test email to [your email will appear automatically here]. You can also send a test email directly here: Send test email.

If you don’t receive the test email, it may be in your Promotions or Spam folder. If this occurs, please move the email to your Primary folder and mark it as ‘safe.’  The email may have also been blocked for a number of reasons. Please get in touch with the Substack Support team here if you believe your email has been blocked.

What to do if you stop receiving emails from VeganWeekly

Newsletters may occasionally appear in your email’s Promotions, Updates or Spam folders. I recommend checking these locations.

  • If the email landed in Promotions or Updates, I recommend dragging the email back to the Primary Inbox.

  • If the email is marked Spam, please mark this address as “not spam” and add our email address to your contact list. All posts will be sent from veganweekly@substack.com.

  • If you’ve checked these folders, it’s possible that a previous email was marked as Spam and your email provider blocked us from sending further emails. Please get in touch with the Substack Support team here if you believe your email has been blocked.

How to unsubscribe from VeganWeekly

Replying “unsubscribe” or “cancel” to an email newsletter will not unsubscribe you from VeganWeekly nor cancel your free or paid subscription.

To unsubscribe, please visit your Manage Subscription page and disable the toggles for the notifications you’d no longer like to receive. If you’d like to completely unsubscribe from VeganWeekly, click on the red “Unsubscribe” button.

How to cancel your paid subscription

I’m sorry to see you go but if you would like to cancel your paid subscription, please visit your Manage Subscription page.  In the Account actions section, click on “To cancel your paid subscription, click here”.  Select “Cancel Subscription” if you choose to terminate your monthly or annual subscription.

Alternatively, you can elect to pause your subscription if you would like to take a sabbatical without incurring charges during the period you choose.
